“I swore to myself that I will only work where I enjoy it. It doesn’t matter which league that is ” – Prussia coach Sascha Hildmann said in November 2020, after he stayed head coach on Hammer Strasse after the descent and at that time talked about himself and his way in a detailed portrait. And it was a decision that he shouldn’t regret. In the over 100 competitive games, which he stood on the sideline with the eagle on his chest, the team scored more than two points on average. An impressive value that is even 2.31 this season, making all Prussians dream further. But regardless of whether this dream come true, it is clear: the way together continues beyond the summer. Together with his assistant coach Louis Cordes and goalkeeper coach Carsten Nulle, the football teacher extended his contract on Hammer Strasse.
“I am very happy that our work is not over here and the common path we have taken is continued. I said it back then and now emphasize it even more clearly: it is just exactly what I always wanted. I and us are a lot of fun working in this club and with this team. Now we will do everything we can in the end of the season to reward ourselves and our great fans for this season, ”says Sascha Hildmann himself about his extension and with a view to the season finale.
“I am also very happy that our common path continues,” says sports director Peter Niemeyer and adds: “The entire team of coaches does a great job and I am convinced that we can still achieve a lot together.”
Sascha Hildmann has been a coach of SC Prussia since December 2019 when he had taken over the team in the 3rd division together with Louis Cordes. Despite the rising form curve, the rescue was not successful, but the positive development in many areas has been unmistakable since then. Goalkeeper coach Carsten Nulle finally joined the current season and contributed to the fact that the Prussians were the best defensive in the league and the goalkeepers with the most zero games.
