At Manchester United’s Captain Harry Maguire, a bomb threat has been received according to English media reports.
“In the last 24 hours Harry received a serious threat that affected his house,” said a spokesman for the United Captain. “He reported this to the police, who now examines the matter.”
“The safety of his family and people in his environment has of course top priority for Harry,” it continued. Maguire, who lives together with his fiancee and the common two children, will prepare “normal on the game on the weekend and we will not comment on at this time.” On Saturday (13.30 clock), United travels to the FC Arsenal in the Premier League.
The defender was often often the focus of criticism because of the changeable achievements of the Red Devils.
According to the police of Cheshire, no evacuation of the house took place. As a precautionary measure, on Thursday, however, an explosive dog of the police had been used at the address to check the gardens and the environment.
