Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo’s Crossover Combat game for Switch, has just announced that his last DLC character will be Sora, the Kingdom Hearts series protagonist. Rejoining other DLC characters such as Persona’s Joker and Final Fantasy’s Cloud, Sora will come from another famous Crossover game, Kingdom Hearts, which brings Disney’s famous IP addresses, Pixar and Square Enix.
Sora is the favorite choice of fans for the Super Smash franchise: in 2015, five years ago, a survey sent at the time of the exit of Super Smash Bros. For the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS places Sora as the most requested fighter. For those who do not know it, Kingdom Hearts is a popular JRPG series that brings together famous disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Pixar Story characters and other series, and Square Enix characters from Final Fantasy and others Series. As such, Sora had to be quite difficult to acquire for Nintendo because they should have used the intellectual property of not one, but two large companies.
Sora will be another fighter in the sword, but with his iconic KeyBlade. In addition, it can use magic spells, such as Blizzaga and Thundaja. Although only details on its set of movements have been revealed, the official description of its combat style by Nintendo describes it as a fighter with “light and soft” movements and “powerful attacks based on combo”. In other news, the famous DOOM Slayer of the classic FPS fame will be added as a Gunner-class Mii fighter costume, as well as Octoling Wig and Judd Hat.
