March Madness – Sweet 16: Bitters end for Holmgren, Gonzaga and Arizona fall! Coach K reaches the 100

The Sweet 16 of the March Madness starts absolutely wild: With Gonzaga and Arizona, two more 1-seeds are excreted early from the tournament. Coach K got his 100th win in the NCAA tournament with Duke.

The madness continues! After the spectacular 2nd round falling directly on the first day of Sweet 16 two pot favorites with Gonzaga and Arizona.

Drew Timm scored 25 points for the bulldogs who had to give up in the final phase of the scarce defeat against Arkansas (4), however, on Chet Holmgren. The potential top pick of the upcoming drafts scored 11 points and collected 14 rebounds, but foul in his probably last college game early. Arkansas was led by Guard J.D. Notae (21 points).

The Sweet 16 starts at night on Friday (March 25) and is completed in the following night, a little later, it will continue directly with the Elite Eight. Here are the appointments for the further NCAA tournament 2022:
