The National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) has decided in cooperation with the Bundsliga (BBL), the Handball Bundesliga (HBL) and the Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) a restructuring of doping control measures outside of competitions. Accordingly, from February, a team test pool is to be set up in the three different. This should be done after a short test phase for the establishment of the administrative infrastructure and execution of training events. The team test pool includes all the relevant relevant professionals and enabling NADA to “control all league players outside of the competition,” says NADA’s message. The three leagues thus follow the German Football League (DFL) and the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). There the team test pool is already introduced.
