Ubisoft Quartz Publisher brings first NFTs in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Only a few weeks ago Publisher Ubisoft betrayed that there is quite interest in NFTs and their implementation in games. Now the company surprised with the revelation of Ubisoft Quartz, a brand-new platform, which allows players to acquire so-called digits. The core is NFTs, which are used for the first time in an AAA game. Ubisoft will begin with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint for the PC.

From 9 December 2021, Ubisoft Quartz will be available in several countries — Germany is also directly at the start. Behind the digits, various cosmetic objects that will appear not only in limited edition, but also get their own serial number. Each item will also call all previous owners, even if the item is no longer owned. Buyers of a Digit will also receive a certificate from Ubisoft, which confirms its ownership of the Limited Item in the Blockchain.

Uniqueness: Every digit is a unique collection object with an individual serial number that can be seen by others in the game. In addition, the current and earlier owners: are recorded in for years, whereby the players: inside become an integral part of the history of the game.

Plastic: Digits are high-quality collectibles in the game with active utility value. Since they are playable, they offer more than just an object that can be personalized, but are a true means to fulfill missions with style.

Control: Each digit is provided with a property certificate stored on the blockchain, a decentralized, community-operated and Ubisoft independent technology, which allows the player: inside greater control than ever. With digits, objects in the game are no longer to the inventory of the players: interior, as it is possible to acquire digits of other players outside the Ubisoft ecosystem.

To start Ubisoft Quartz, the Publisher will first give away some digits. These will be available on 9 December, 12 December and December 15th. For participation in the new platform, players must be at least 18 years old and Level 5 has reached Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Ubisoft promises that only cosmetic items for quartz are used.
